AI for tax and advisory firms
Your clients' tax and employment data is what your team works with every day. Including when it uses AI.

Why accounting and advisory firms use Acotia
An advisory firm lives on its clients' data: tax IDs, IBANs, payslips, returns. The team already uses AI to draft emails and summarise regulations, almost always with personal accounts. Acotia lets them keep doing it without that data leaving raw.
IDs with check digits
Spanish NIF, NIE and CIF are validated before masking, as are IBANs and social security numbers: fewer false positives, less friction.
The model works with labels
The text leaves with [NIF_1] or [IBAN_1] and the response gets the real values back on the requester's computer.
Spend with a ceiling
A monthly cap for the company and for each person, with a warning before it is reached. Tax, payroll and accounting stop sharing an uncontrolled card.

Client folder

What leaves without anyone seeing
Payroll fragments to draft an explanation for a client, tables with tax IDs and contribution bases to reconcile a filing, emails with bank details to chase a payment. It is almost never a whole document: it is pieces pasted in a hurry into an open tab.
What a perimeter changes
Those same pieces can still be used, with the identifiers replaced before they leave. The model understands the question just as well and answers just as well, and the log shows that a hundred and twenty tax identifiers were protected that day.
The conversation with your client
A firm that can explain, with a document, how it handles client information when using AI has an argument its competitors do not. Today almost nobody can answer that question.
An ordinary day at a tax firm
Someone in the payroll team pastes a payslip table to ask for a plain-language explanation; another copies an email with an IBAN to draft a payment claim; a third uploads the text of an official notice to summarise it. Three reasonable uses, and in none of them is there a record of which client data left.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use AI with my clients' tax and payroll data?
You can if it is done under control: identifiers replaced before leaving, models and terms approved by the company and a record of what happened. The duty to protect that data does not change because AI is used; what changes is that you must be able to show it. This is not legal advice: check with your DPO or adviser.
Which identifiers does it detect?
NIF, NIE and CIF with their control digit, IBAN, Social Security numbers, cards, emails, phone numbers and keys, plus your firm's own custom terms.
How do I answer a client who asks how I handle their information with AI?
With the evidence log: how many requests there were, which categories appeared and what was done with them, without exposing the content.
